{Another} Obsession.
Besides dance, Lucy has many more obsessions.
One includes loads and loads of Lip Gloss.
She has a bigger collection than me.
She's such a girly girl.

My first child.
She is the perfect first child.
She is always so helpful.
She is so loving.
She is {usually} so happy.
She loves babies.
I just know when baby #3 comes, she will be the best little helper.

Quality Time.
Kate goes to school 4 days a week.
Which means it's just Lucy and I in the mornings.
She likes it. {i do too}
When we drop Kate off, Lucy always says to me, "What we doin today, mama?"
I love the one on one time i get with her and i've been soaking it all up before baby #3 arrives in 3.5 weeks.
We painted her nails today, she chose the colors.
Love her.

Today Kate spent the day at school and at a play date with her friends.
I spent the day with my baby, Lucy.
We strolled target.
We played, colored and danced.
We took a walk around the neighborhood.
We had so much fun.

Lucy is obsessed!
She literally asks me everyday if she has dance class.
She practices a lot. Everyday.
What more can i say.

Today started early.
I got a 5am wake up call from my two.
Apparently they were done sleeping, cause we tried everything to get them to go back to sleep.
We finally gave up and brought them downstairs.
Take a look at that clock... about 5:40ish ...AM!
Lucy wanted to color and Kate was content watching Arthur.
At least they were happy and cheery instead of grumpy and cranky.

project 365 -- take two.

Ok, so my last project 365 wasn't quite completed. But i shall put that aside and start anew! Who's with me? I need to rejuvenate and pick up the camera more than once a month. So i'm hoping starting over with this project 365 will revive my energy and my creative juices. Now, it may not necessarily be an actual 'photo of the day', it may just be an old photo edited, an iphone/instagram photo, a Polaroid,who knows. Just bare with me and enjoy the ride.

Project 365 posting will start 01/01/2012.

About 2 weeks ago i celebrated my 27th birthday!
I had such a great day...
breakfast with my besties.
great gift from the mr.
bowling with the fam.
lunch at bj's.
home for an afternoon nap.
dinner at canyon gate.
cake (white choc raspberry - nothing bundt cake), gifts and more family at the in-laws.
and a night off from putting the girls to bed (ok, ok, my husband does this every night)
I'm a lucky gal to say the least.
Thanks to all who made my day so special.

We will be seeing my brother today...
2 years ago he left to serve a mission for the LDS church in Richmond Virginia.
Kate was 11 months old... now she's almost 3! She really excited to see him again.
Lucy will meet her Uncle Kyle today for the first time.
11 pm cannot come any sooner!
