One hundred and fifty seven.

More vintage things.

A fire burning stove.
A look-a-like of what the pioneers used.
Sitting in a dirt floor house built in a hill.
I could not have been a pioneer.

One hundred and fifty five.

Snail Mail.

Remember those days?
I love getting mail,
good ole fashioned mail.
That people actually hand wrote.

Send me something, please.
Thank you.

One hundred and fifty three.

Taking a break.

Could you tell?
I put my computer down...
let my laundry pile up...
turned off the tv...
and have played and played and played with my 2 kiddos.
And it's been so much fun!

Boyish.

If i had a boy...
I would print this out and hang it in his room.

Vintage.

I've said it a thousand times...
I love all things vintage.
And i couldn't get enough of this old gas can!
The color, the texture, the long neck... love it!

Tic Tack Toe.

The weather has been in the 70's and 80's.
Park days are a must at these temps.
I love how this classic game is still a favorite among youngsters.

Loving...

I am a sucker for anything of this style.
Clothes, pictures, items, cars... you name it.

Rocket Fizz.

A soda/candy shop.
about a mile or so from my house.
haven't been there yet, but the mister took kate and she only said good things about it.
they have the world’s biggest selection of bottled soda pop, plus candy favorites from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
and they brought me home a favorite drink of mine, vintage style.

Photo opt.

This is a shelf.
Decor, if you will.
At a Japanese Steakhouse.
Couldn't resist snapping the photo.
How was the dinner you ask?
Delicious.
Everything about it.
The tradition, the food, the company, the reason.
Our 3rd Annual...
Thank you friends, can't wait til next year.

Date Night.

My mom was here last weekend.
It's always great to have her around.
On Saturday night she offered to babysit while we had a night out on the town.
Frozzen Hot Chocolate was on my mind...
We had a great time.
Thanks mom.

Bowling Shoes.

We usually go to Red Rock Lanes to bowl.
Red rock does not have shoes for toddlers.
This day we went to the Orleans.
They have shoes of all sizes, as small as a toddler size 6.
It was so cute to see Kate in her little bowling shoes.
She loves to bowl.

Silhouettes.

I've always been a fan of these.
I'm made a couple for friends and family.
Finally got around to making them for my little family.

I love them! [the result and my family.]

Intercom.

Remember these?
Did any of you have intercoms in your house growing up?
Did you use them?
Anyone i knew who had these never used them.
Does anyone use them now?

I think the text feature on our cell phones is used more now to communicate while one is upstairs and the other downstairs.
Am i right?

A picture of a picture.

This is my grandpa and grandma. [also known as bito and mamia]
I couldn't resist taking this [picture of a picture] to put in my photo library.
I love how my grandpa looks so proud of my grandma.
I love how his arm is around her.
I love how her hand is around his finger.
I love the little smirk on his face, one he still makes to this day.
I love how their feet are touching.
I love how this is exactly how i think of them now.
I love how they are so in love.

Wish i could go back in time and see them then.
I bet it would be a blast.
I bet i would laugh for hours at my grandpa and his silly jokes.
I bet i would envy my grandma even more than i do now.

I love you mamia and bito.

Vintage.
I love all things vintage.
My aunt uses this oven in her home.
The original one that was built with the house.
It is beautiful and charming. isn't it?
She's waiting for it to die so she can get a brand spankin' new stainless steel one.
I'm waiting for her to get rid of it so i can take it, she thinks i'm crazy.
Thank you vivian, for letting me photograph this piece. i am enamored by it.
