We were driving by the strip today and Kate spotted the Stratosphere.
She immediately said, "i want to go on the roller coaster up there."
That's my girl.
Fearless.

1. On Monday we painted the nursery {from pink} to a khaki color. I love it.
2. I made a crib sheet for this baby boy. {With the help of my friend Brit.} It's perfect!
3. A preview of baby boy's room. On the left, Foosball men. Above the crib, vintage wooden tennis rackets. Still a few more things to come. {I'd like to thank pinterest for some great ideas.}
4. Kate started this thing called Singer's Company. It's the cutest thing ever! And she loves it, so that makes it even better. She sings and dances and at the end of the session there's a recital/performance.
5. Lucy is in love with Mimi and Papa's massage chair. if she's not around, i always know i can find her there. She reclines it, turns it on and sits there while it shakes her whole body. It's quite funny.
6. This week the weather has been great! Today was no exception. We've been out daily.
Riding bikes, riding the barbie jeep, playing outside and having fun!

P.S. 5 weeks til a sweet little newborn will be occupying the newly decorated nursery. We can't wait.

Today started early.
I got a 5am wake up call from my two.
Apparently they were done sleeping, cause we tried everything to get them to go back to sleep.
We finally gave up and brought them downstairs.
Take a look at that clock... about 5:40ish ...AM!
Lucy wanted to color and Kate was content watching Arthur.
At least they were happy and cheery instead of grumpy and cranky.

Everything they make is mouth watering.
If you need someone to go with, i will gladly accompany you.
The owners Bryce and Dalton know me by name.
They are so nice and will most likely greet you too.

Just talking about it makes me want to visit today for lunch.

Winter.

I grew up in the flats of Miami and New Orleans.
No mountains or hills. [actually below sea level]
And absolutely No snow.
These are the winters i enjoy to live in.

Las Vegas has a bit of both...
A little mountainous and hilly...
and a snow-cap here and there.

I must say, i love livin' in Las Vegas.

When i was pregnant with Kate, i frequented this hot spot more than once a week.
My mouth waters even if i hear the words 'banana fudge crumble.'
If you haven't been here and you're a local, go there today!
If you ever visit or are just passing through the wonderful city of Las Vegas make this quick stop, i promise you will absolutely LUV IT!

It has been used by many.
A favorite item among kate's friends.

Don't worry, we don't make you pay out of your own pocket.
We have a bowl full of quarters.

When i was young, I used to only like on kind of flower.
Since then i have grown to love every and any kind.
There's nothing better than to have a fresh bouquet of flowers.

My grandpa buys my grandma a fresh bouquet every week.
It's sort of his trademark.
It's adorable.

I might ask my hubby to continue this tradition.
